Service Description

We will pick you up at 9 Am from the port. Our first stop brings us AtKatchikally Crocodile Pool 10 minutes’ drive will take us to the sacred crocodile pool in Bakau. Upon arrival, we have an inside visit of the traditional museum before walking around the pool. The local guides of the pool will give to you a briefer explanation of the existence of the pool and explain to you how local people benefit from it spiritually. Travelers can stroke a crocodile but to be strictly supervised by a local guide. Duration 35 mins stop will be at monkey park It is a forest near by Kololi where you can spot two out of three kind of monkeys we have in the Gambia and these are the green velvet monkey friendly and the red colobus which have red belly and grey back and are always on the trees , work in the forest for monkey feeding , Duration 1 hr stop at Tanji fishing village Tanji is a bigger fishing village than Bakau, but also much more visited by tourists. Before heading back to the port, head for a panoramic view of a city at Arch. This Arch was erected in honor of the July 22nd Revolution. The 37m high Arch is spectacular and a view of the whole city can be seen and its daily activities. Duration. 20 minutes
